Really tired of the attitude that eating can “ruin” your progress in the gym. No, fuck you. If you run a mile, that’s a mile you ran. Your legs are stronger, your lungs are stronger, your heart is stronger. I don’t care if you ate an entire cake, you still ran a damn mile.
If you view exercise as something that “cancels out” food then you’re gonna have a bad time. If your only exercise goal is to burn calories, I don’t know what to do with you.
Please do not hate on the “New Year’s Resolutioners” at your gym this season. You don’t know what got that person in the gym but does it matter? The worst that could happen would be they become a new friend and even better: a healthier person. Smile, be encouraging, don’t be rude. That is all.
People exercise and eat right so that they will love their body. What they don’t realize is that if they love their body, they will exercise and eat right.

OOH I love this! Just a reminder that taking exercise (a class, a run, a gym date) can change your day from crap to massively satisfying! That rush of endorphins, the progress your making, the fact that you went for it hell for leather! I LOVE THAT FEELING!
